Downtown Lawrence was hoppin' with fun stuff on Sunday. The first annual Busker Fest featured quirky street performers at several locations. Fellow photodudes Ferry Keizer, Chris Ralston and I worked our way around the big crowds for some good views. Ferry and I also headed a couple blocks south for the Kansas Fiddlin' and Pickin' competition. The weather was terrific and the entertainment was even better.

Nice stuff, Doug. Sorry I didn't make it down to the festival but moving pretty much occupied my weekend. Looking forward to seeing Ferry and Chris' stuff as well. Any special technique on those color shots? I like that look!
Wish I could have been there as well. Looks like you guys had lots of photo ops.

Thanks for droppin' in guys. I, too, wish the Snell brothers could have made it along. It was a perfect day. And, we could have capped the day off with a little Free State brew.
4Mike: It's a doug-modified lightroom preset for the color. It works really well on some pics.

Doug! Beautiful stuff. Hope your show opening went well. I enjoy seeing what you and the other guys from way back when are up to. We saw Bryan Wendling this weekend, too -- we must have just missed you.
