home alone 2

Seems like I'm running out of new places to go shoot photos these days. I need a roadrtip or maybe just more time to wander. Whatever the case, I was in western Topeka yesterday and decided to drop by a spot where I shot a fave photo called Home Alone. It's on the grounds of the Kansas History Museum. I shot several photos like the original - but they just weren't working. But, the little outhouse that is just south of the schoolhouse made for a simple composition - the kind I like. I hope to make to this spot during a summer storm. Big black storm clouds over the school or outhouse would make for a dandy photo.
