leaf art

I finally mowed my grass this morning - which was actually mowing leaves (I put of raking as long as possible). Anyway, one of my maples trees is dropping the most fantastic blood-red and orange leaves. I had planned already planned to do a fall season shooting excursion today - but the amazing leaf find sent me in another direction. I took my favorite leaf and shot it on uniquely colored/textured background – car hoods, walls, an old school bus, and doors. My favorite image was on the trunk of an old, rusty Volkswagon. The result is a 4X4 leaf quilt. I can't wait to print in out really large.
